The SE SMS allows you to see what is happening in your company in real time. The system takes the information gathered throughout the different processes and shows you what is happening. The Hazards seen from FLHA’s are shown to all the workers through their dashboard. Corrective action, leading hazards and HID/BBO information is transmitted across the company. This allows you to never question what is happening company wide.

Safety Manual, Safework Practices and Procedures: Safety Evolution (SE) offers two separate options. The first is a full services product where the team at SE provide you with a complete safety manual, safework practices and procedures tailored to your company and guaranteed to meet or exceed industry standards. The second option for companies with well-developed paper based health and safety program is to take your existing safety manual, safework practice and procedures and load them into the software for you. This will then make them available to all employees on their computers, tablets or smart phones.

The employee management system is created through the onboarding process. The employee management system includes a bio on the worker, their contact details, emergency contacts, certifications, participation and picture of the user. The employee list shows you who is current with your company, what their work experience is, their contact information and emergency contact if the needs arises. Gone are the days when you need to search through phones, records and paper to find contact details for your workers.

When the user is onboarded through the system they input all the information including all training and certificates which are then imported into the training matrix. The training matrix sends out alerts when tickets are expiring and is searchable for larger companies. The competency program provides you with generic competency forms. For companies with specific needs, SE will develop custom competency forms that meet your needs. Competency forms allow you to follow up if the work needs more time to become competent. These forms allow you to show that you have competent people working for your company if the need arises.

Onboarding new workers is and expensive process. The safety evolution onboarding system allows you to onboard and orientate your workers by simply sending them an e-vite to the system. When the user opens the email, they follow the link into the system and begin the onboarding process. The put in their information that you require, watch the orientation video, take the test and they are onboarded and orientated for your company. This process saves you wages and administrative cost associate with this process.

The corrective action management system is the backbone of the health and safety management system. All systems that generate action sequences flow through to this system for processing. If a worker completes an inspection, HID/BBO or near-miss and selects an item that needs attention the system automatically starts the corrective action sequences. The corrective action is created and is ready to be assign to a user. The user then fixes the item, uploads proof and the corrective action is sent for approval. The system reduces the time it takes to complete corrective actions. Users see quicker turnaround times on downed equipment, sites see hazards removed or fixed quicker and administrative time and costs are reduced through the automated process.

The inspection module allows you to use pre-built inspection forms or have the team at SE build custom forms that follow your existing health and safety management system. The pre-built forms cover site inspections, motor vehicles and generic equipment inspections. The automated forms can be filled out on any device within the SE system. The form automatically links to the corrective action module to handle and deficiencies seen during the inspection process. This automation is a great way to ensure that anything you need to fix is handled quickly and efficiently within the company. This saves down time and ensures that your workers are not facing hazards from the site or they are unable to complete their work because of broken or damaged equipment.

Hazard identification is a necessary component of a strong health and safety program. Hazard’s identified in the workplace need to be fixed as quickly as possible. With the SE hazard Identification (HID) system doing this is a breeze. The worker fills out the form on the device, takes a picture and saves and the hazard is sent into the system to be fixed. (See Corrective Action Module for complete work flows.) The Near-miss reporting system works from the same form and follows the same process. The worker fills out the form on their device, selects near-miss and attaches the documents and pictures for the event and saves and the system takes care of the rest.

The SE Behavioural Base Observations (BBO) allows you to monitor the behaviours both at risk and safe throughout the company. A strong BBO program allows the users to communicate the behaviours they are seeing to management so that they can be applauded or training and education can be implemented to curb unwanted and unsafe trends. Once the program is implemented it is also a great tool for supervision to observe the workers performing at risk task or task that have been highlighted for possibly containing at risk behaviours so that they can see firsthand how they are done. The learnings from this can then be circulated through the company as a tool to educate everyone on how to complete the job safely.
