The company operates in the Drilling Industry in Canada specializing in the supply and service of drilling equipment, equipment parts and drilling consumables. The scope of the business includes small and large rock drills for quarries and construction, and various sizes of multi-use drills for ground consolidation, environmental sampling, tie backs, micro piles, jet grouting and Geothermal and hydraulic piling rigs from 35-110 tons.
Selix is the Canada wide distributor for Sandvik Construction a division of Sandvik, an international Swedish company in the high-technology engineering sector and a world-leader in tooling, stainless steel alloys and materials technology, mining and construction.
Selix also has strategic supply arrangements with Carandina S.l.r. of Italy for the supply of foundation drilling tools, Tramac for hydraulic rock breakers and, I.C.E from the USA for piling and vibro equipment. I.C.E is specialized in the development and innovation of vibratory technology. They develop, produce, deliver and rent high-quality vibratory hammers and power packs for all deep foundation work. Selix also specializes and excels with its operation to service what it sells.
Selix provides experienced and trained technical support for many makes of hydraulic rock drills.
Selix is the Ontario dealer for Sandvik Construction top-hammer drills with factory trained mechanical expertise. However, our team of mobile mechanics, with fully equipped service vehicles, covers our client’s service requirements from as far west as Manitoba to the north eastern parts of Quebec. We coordinate service with Sandvik to make sure our priority is prompt service including special handling for drill down situations.
Besides rock drills Selix supports the MC Drill line of multipurpose drill rigs in all of Canada. We maintain essential inventory at our Ottawa location, provide local, speedy and trained mechanical support for all sizes of MC Drill multipurpose and CMV large self-erecting piling drills.
Selix also repairs many makes of hydraulic rock breakers. Selix is a dealer for Dainong hydraulic breakers but our service team is especially experienced and knowledgeable with repairs to most makes of hydraulic breakers. Selix sells parts and provides service for a variety of hydraulic breakers including Dainong, Tramac, B&D and others.
