About Costello Safety Consulting LLC.

Established in 2012, Costello Safety Consulting, LLC. is a small full-service Occupational Health and Safety consulting company based out of Houston, TX.  We have helped contractors and businesses throughout the U.S. manage their safety issues through the development of in-house training, safety compliance programs, and risk-based safety assessments. We offer a wide range of training courses and programs for construction, oil & gas, and the general industry.

Costello Safety Consulting, LLC.  always takes great pride in custom-tailoring our programs and services to meet the diverse needs of our ever-increasing client base.

“Safety is an investment, not an expense”. Your organization’s view on safety should be seen as any other function in the organization. If there was a department in your company that added nothing to the bottom line and was a pure expense, what would you do? You’d eliminate that function of course. Unfortunately, some managers and employees feel that way about safety and as a result, they don’t invest in it. Then the accidents and injury-related costs start adding up. Smart owners and managers expect to see a return on every penny, and your investment in safety and safety consulting is no different.

How are we different?

 It's our experience that the most effective workplace health and safety programs go beyond your basic checklists and compliance. In order for these programs to be truly successful, they must have a clear, measurable path toward long-term profitability and productivity. This is where we shine.

 Costello Safety Consulting, LLC. serves as your dedicated partner in discovering the unique health and safety needs of your workplace. We partner with you to implement and manage complete and effective safety programs that protect your employees and your business.

Services

OSHA Compliance Analysis:

Costello Safety Consulting can provide an OSHA Compliance Analysis for less than the cost of one serious OSHA violation. This particular safety consulting service details the positive aspects of your safety program and what aspects must be addressed in order to be fully OSHA compliant. At the end of the Analysis, you can:

  • Implement the needed updates and changes yourself;

  • Have Costello Safety Consulting manage your safety program and bring your operations into OSHA compliance; or

  • You can specify which elements you would like for us to handle.

Safety Program Management:

Why go to the time and expense of hiring a full-time Safety Director to manage your safety program? One of our consultants can manage your safety program better, at a fraction of the cost!

A safety consultant from Costello Safety Consulting can manage your company’s safety program for less than half the compensation of a full-time Safety Director. More importantly, a safety consultant from Costello Safety Consulting can manage your company’s safety program to ensure complete OSHA compliance. For a monthly fee, we handle all OSHA safety compliance requirements for you, including:

  • Health & Safety Program review and development;

  • All necessary OSHA compliance noise monitoring;

  • OSHA compliance hearing conservation programs;

  • OSHA compliance industrial hygiene sampling;

  • OSHA compliance respiratory protection programs;

  • OSHA compliance personal protective equipment selection;

  • All necessary OSHA compliance safety training; and

  • Monthly OSHA compliance deficiency inspections.

To be in “OSHA compliance,” safety responsibilities must meet minimum regulatory standards. We begin by bringing your company to at least OSHA compliance, then we help your company improve from there to suit your needs. Your safety consultant would then focus on activities and programs that help minimize workers’ compensation insurance premiums.

In many cases, Costello Safety Consulting can be hired to manage your company’s safety program as part of a penalty reduction negotiation with OSHA. OSHA penalties can many times be reduced by 40% or more by hiring Costello Safety Consulting to guide you through your OSHA compliance obligations.

ISNetworld Service:

Costello Safety Consulting can provide you with the required Health & Safety programs, forms, and submissions required by ISNetworld in order to obtain a passing grade. After obtaining a passing grade within ISNetworld, we can provide you with monthly maintenance, and upkeep of your ISNetworld account; including providing additional training and programs requested by your clients.

Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis:

Our clients call us for incident investigation/root cause analysis support when they:

  • Have a major accident or incident and need additional investigation expertise, technical expertise, regulatory interface support, and recommendation implementation support;

  • Know they will face issues with regulators, insurance companies, or customers;

  • Know there is the potential for serious litigation;

  • Have a chronic issue that they need assistance with solving; or

  • Want an outsider's view of an incident.

We can provide you with a comprehensive response to the incident - from simple to complex.
